Research
For all the focus on “user research,” the term may be a misnomer. In designing products and services, the designer’s role is just as central as the user’s. People have insights that can inform your product or service, but as designers, if you don’t plan to hear them, you’ll miss feedback from the people you’re designing for. Whether formal or informal, on a shoestring or a big budget, you can do research. This workshop offers approaches to conducting research with results you can use. Learn methods for finding the appropriate people, asking good questions, using technology, and understanding the results. Walk away with practical experience you can apply to your current projects.
What will you take away?
