How to Maintain a DesignOps Roadmap

DesignOps helps design teams be more efficient, effective, and happy by creating the best possible circumstances for design. Whether there are full-time DesignOps professionals available or just several people with the DesignOps mindset, coordination of DesignOps initiatives is necessary to have the biggest impact.

Peter recommends working with a continuously updated roadmap for DesignOps, featuring prioritised initiatives, a rough planning, and expected impact on the design team’s metrics. This workshop teaches you how to make sure the right DesignOps initiatives are executed with the right people, to have the biggest possible impact.

This workshop is for you, if you want to contribute to improving the circumstances for your design team, coordinate improvement initiatives, and track the metrics that determine their impact.

DesignOps Initiatives in Practice

Every design organisation should continuously run initiatives that improve the circumstances for designers and increase the chances of good design happening. In other words: they should have a DesignOps practice.

In this talk, Peter will walk attendees through examples of DesignOps initiatives and how they were executed, as well as introduce his process to maintain a DesignOps roadmap, all based on experiences at Miro, ServiceNow, IKEA, and other organisations.
