Content Modelling for Scalable Reuse

Build Once, Publish Everywhere
FRIDAY 15 MAY 12:00

Content is frequently copied or recreated for every channel, every campaign, every product update. It's inefficient, and often worse for users and brands.

This session introduces content modelling for omnichannel reuse. This is the practice of designing content as structured, modular components that can be assembled, adapted, and delivered across any channel or context without starting over each time.

It will give you a practical overview of what separates reusable content from content that gets stuck in silos: the difference between structured, unstructured, and semantic content; what modular design actually looks like in practice; and why the architecture you choose today determines how flexible you can be tomorrow.

You'll leave with a clearer mental model for how to think about your content assets, IA, and the related experience design concepts, and a concrete sense of where to start.

What you'll take away:

  • A practical understanding of structured, typed, and modular content
  • A visual language for talking about content models across teams
  • Some actionable steps you can take back to your organisation
