Terms and Conditions
By registering to attend UXLx 2024 you agree to the following:
Tickets
All tickets issued for the event are valid for the named attendee only and cannot be shared during the event dates.
Schedule and Lineup
The schedule and lineup are subject to change at any time and are not guaranteed. We reserve the right to change contents, dates, timings, speakers and/or location of the event for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
If we change the date and/or location of the event, we will contact the attendees by email and offer them the choice of either:
(a) A credit coupon corresponding to the amount paid, to be used for the next two UXLx in-person events, or;
(b) The opportunity to attend the event as varied.
We shall not be liable to for costs and expenses incurred if we are required to cancel or relocate the event as a result of an event outside our reasonable control (including, without limitation, to natural disasters, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, strike action, lockouts or other industrial action or a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness).
Workshops Selection
Workshop registration will open on 22 April 2024. The attendees will receive a link by email to register. There will be several options to choose from, and Workshop seats will be available first come first served until the room capacity is reached.
There will also be an option to register in-person at the UXLx 2024 check-in desk during the event’s dates, for the Workshop seats still available by then.
Canceling and getting a refund
You can cancel your registration to UXLx 2024 by sending an email to info@ux-lx.com with the ticket number you wish to cancel registration.
IF WE RECEIVE A VALID CANCELLATION EMAIL:
- By 22 February 2024 (at 5:00 p.m. Lisbon time), you will receive a 75% refund of total fees.
- By 22 March 2024 (at 5:00 p.m. Lisbon time), you will receive a 50% refund of total fees.
- By 22 April 2024, (at 5:00 p.m. Lisbon time), you will receive a 25% refund of total fees.
- Cancellations after 22 April 2024 will not be refunded.
Refunds for any price adjustments for previously-purchased tickets will not be provided (e.g. should an attendee request a discount after purchase).
Any refund due shall be paid within 28 days of receipt of the cancellation notice, with the same payment method used during the purchase.
Transferring your ticket
The ticket buyer can change their tickets’ details anytime since the tickets have been issued, by 7 May 2024. There will be no transfers afterwards.
Discount Codes and Coupons
Super Early Bird tickets are available one at a time, with Credit Card payment only.
Any Discount Codes made available for UXLx 2024 conference can be used during the registration, for Early Bird, Standard and Full Price tickets.
Coupons from previous UXLx events can be applied in full to any tickets available at the time of the purchase. Any questions, please contact the conference organizers at info@ux-lx.com.
Health and Safety Measures
UXLx will ensure that all appropriate measures, as set by the Portuguese health authorities in May 2024, are adhered to.
We advise all attendees to check the Visit Portugal website for the latest travel and event requirements.
Behaviour Conduct
Participants will need to abide to the health and safety measurements in place.
Harassment of conference speakers, participants or staff will not be tolerated in any form.
Any participant engaging in these activities may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund, at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Photography and Quotes
You hereby grant us the right to use any audiovisual record of you taken on the event dates or any quotes you write on feedback forms, social networks or chats. These will only be used for UXLx marketing purposes.
