Conference Status:
Going Ahead

UXLx is taking place in a little over two months and we understand our attendees are concerned if it’s still taking place. We’re following WHO and our government’s recommendations for travel and events, and we’re hoping the situation is cleared by the time of the event dates, so we’re still going ahead.

The safety of our speakers and attendees is of paramount importance and we won’t proceed with a physical event if there are still risks at the time. In the meantime we are also looking at alternate ways to create an engaging event online, if needed, as a last resort.

Any changes to this status will be sent to the attendees directly by email and also updated here.

Terms & conditions

By registering to attend UX Lx: User Experience Lisbon you agree to the following:

Tickets

All tickets issued for the event are valid for the named attendee only and can­not be shared during the event dates.

Canceling or getting a refund

You can cancel your seat and get a full refund up to 17 April 2020 at 5PM Lisbon time. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.

Transfering your ticket

The ticket buyer can change their tickets’ details anytime since the tickets have been issued until 30 April 2020 at 5PM Lisbon time. There will be no transfers afterwards.

Changing your ticket details

Any change to the ticket details will only be possible up to 30 April 2020 at 5PM Lisbon time. After this date no changes can be done.

Schedule and Lineup

The schedule and lineup are subject to change at any time and are not guaranteed.

Workshop Selection [Not Applicable to Online Event]

Workshop reservations are made on the check-in day of each ticket type. Each attendee will be able to select their workshops for that day on a first come first served basis. Selections for the following days will follow a room quota according to the percentage of seats sold for each ticket type. Only attendees with a workshop reservation will be allowed into its room.

Online Workshop Selection

Workshop reservations are made before the conference dates. Attendees will be given a unique access to their registered workshops page and virtual room link.

Online Workshops and Talks Attendance

Each Online Workshop or Talk access is for a single user. Attendees will be required to have their cameras turned on in order to interact with the other Attendees or Speakers during the sessions.

Behaviour Conduct

Harassment of conference speakers, participants or staff will not be tolerated in any form. Any participant engaging in these activities may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund, at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Photography and Quotes

You hereby grant us the right to use any audiovisual record of you taken on the event dates or any quotes you write on feedback forms. These will only be used for UXLx marketing purposes.
